Hi everyone! My name is Cassandra and I am the AIMS President for the 2018/19 academic year. This will be my final year at Asper, finishing off my double major in Human Resources and International Business.
I absolutely love travelling and the opportunity to learn about new cultures that comes along with it! So far, my travelling experience has consisted of an exchange trip to England as well as personal trips to various places in Canada and the United States, Mexico, France, Netherlands, Scotland, England, Italy, and Kenya. My hope is to double that number by this time next year!
Besides travelling I also love to bake, read, play volleyball, and learn about the hospitality and tourism industry. I can’t wait to meet you all and help make your exchange as exciting as mine was! I, along with my team, are ready to make this year an unforgettable one for all of you!

Aaron Chauvin VP of Finance
Hi! My Name is Aaron and I am your VP of Finance. I am currently in my last year of studies at the Asper School of Business, majoring in accounting.
Having grown up in a military family, I’ve lived in and travelled to many places across Canada. I’ve also taken many trips to the U.S. both personally and through school events. Travel is something that I’ve always loved and, after I graduate, my next planned adventure will finally take me off the North American continent.
I look forward to meeting you all! If you have any questions or just want to chat, feel free to contact me.
Sam Hughes VP of Social Programming

I have also had the opportunity to travel to various places in Europe including Scotland, Ireland, Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic, as well as throughout Canada and the United States. Aside from travelling, I enjoy photography and playing soccer.
I am looking forward to meeting everyone and helping to make your time in Canada one you will never forget!
Molly Smyth VP of Social Programming
Hello! My name is Molly and I am in my forth year at the Asper School of Business. I love traveling, and I have been to different parts of Spain, Japan, Canada, Ireland, the UK, Italy, Cuba and Greece. I spent a year on a high school exchange near Nagoya, Japan in 2015 and this past winter I went on an Asper exchange to Santander, Spain. I also love learning languages, and I am attempting to learn French, Spanish and Japanese (though I’m not particularly good at any of them). I can’t wait to meet all of you and feel free to reach out to me with any questions you might have!

Evan Stock VP of Academic Programming
Hello everyone! My name is Evan Stock and I am in my third year at the Asper School of Business. Currently my major is undeclared, but my work to date focusses on International Business and Human Resources. Easily my best experience with Asper has been completing an exchange term at Singapore Management University. I love taking the opportunity to get out of the country and experience new cultures and ways of looking at the world. In addition to Singapore, I have travelled throughout Southeast Asia, Western Europe, and extensively throughout Canada and the United States. Besides travelling, I love to write, listen to music, and spend time with my friends. I’m really looking forward to bringing my unique take to the VP of Academic Programming position and hope I can make AIMS as accessible and accommodating as the treatment I’ve experienced throughout my travels. Feel free to contact me with anything. See you soon! Evan
Taylor Watkins VP of International Affairs
My name is Taylor and I’m a 5th year Asper student majoring in International Business and Marketing. My main goal this year is to help everyone get off on the best foot possible and begin their amazing adventure here in Winnipeg!
I never travelled very much until I went on an exchange semester to Denmark in 2016. Since then, I haven’t been able to get enough of it! I’ve been to multiple countries in Europe and out to the East coast of Canada. I love learning about new cultures, perspectives, and setting the foundation for lifelong friendships. This exactly what AIMS is all about.
I look forward to meeting all of you and help you experience something wonderful here at the U of M and Asper.
Best, Taylor Watkins
